OUR HISTORY
Impact Relief is a proud part of the World Relief legacy, a global movement that began in 1940 to respond to the suffering of people uprooted by war.
From its beginning, World Relief has been driven by a commitment to serve the most vulnerable. Today Impact Relief continues that mission, coming alongside communities to bring relief, restore dignity, and build a better future.
What began as an opportunity to learn tailoring became a life-changing journey for Maxon Malunga of T/A Kaphuka, Dedza. Through vocational skills training, Maxon built a successful tailoring business, improved his family's wellbeing, invested in farming, and constructed a new home. Today, he is multiplying that impact by training others in tailoring, including his wife and former schoolmates, while pursuing his vision of creating even more opportunities for young people in his community.
