What began as an opportunity to learn tailoring became a life-changing journey for Maxon Malunga of T/A Kaphuka, Dedza. Through vocational skills training, Maxon built a successful tailoring business, improved his family's wellbeing, invested in farming, and constructed a new home. Today, he is multiplying that impact by training others in tailoring, including his wife and former schoolmates, while pursuing his vision of creating even more opportunities for young people in his community.

Impact Relief marked a key milestone on June 19 by celebrating its transition to a fully locally led organization, following its earlier official launch. The event in Lilongwe brought together government, church and development partners and featured the unveiling of its mission and vision, along with a symbolic baton handover to Executive Director Matilda Matitha, reaffirming its commitment to locally driven, church-centered solutions for vulnerable communities.
