child development and protection
Why investing in child development and protection is essential
Child development and protection focus on ensuring that every child has a strong start in life by supporting their physical, emotional, cognitive, and social growth from an early age. This is achieved by creating secure and protected environments where children are safe from harm, abuse, and neglect and are able to learn and thrive. Central to this approach are empowered primary and secondary caregivers: parents, guardians, teachers, and community members who are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and support needed to nurture, guide, and protect children, enabling them to reach their full potential.
