Entry Meetings with Local Councils: A Warm Welcome for Impact Relief
Following its launch, Impact Relief has begun entry meetings with district and city councils across Malawi to formally introduce the organization and its work. These engagements mark an important step in strengthening collaboration with local government as Impact Relief continues the legacy of 37 years of World Relief’s work in Malawi.
Impact Relief has been warmly welcomed by councils, who have expressed strong appreciation for the continuity of programming, the retention of experienced Malawian staff, and the organization’s commitment to local leadership. The meetings have provided space to reaffirm existing partnerships, align with council development priorities, and ensure smooth coordination at district level.
As a Malawian‑led organization, Impact Relief is committed to working closely with councils and community stakeholders to deliver sustainable, locally driven solutions that respond to local needs and contribute to district development goals.
